A brief review of a new edition of the Knox Bible
For anyone interested in what was probably the finest flowering of the traditional English Catholic approach to Bible translations, Fr. John Zuhlsdorf provides a short review of the new edition of the Holy Bible translated by Fr. Ronald Knox, just published by Baronius Press. The Knox Bible is a treasure from time time before the Second Vatican Council, when the Church was intent on bringing the patrimony of the faith closer to the people. Read Fr. Zuhlsdorf's review and then go and get a copy of the Knox Bible.
